The Wealth, Business & Leadership Retreat Create More Wealth. Build a Business That Depends Less on You. Become the Leader It Needs Next. Cyprus 2027 | 24 September–1 October 2027
Six days combining the complete, certificated Silva Method BLS/Foundation course with daily application to wealth creation, business and leadership, plus additional Business & Wealth Psychology modules. At the five-star Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol, on the Mediterranean coast of Cyprus. Seven nights’ accommodation and meals included.
What If the Next Level of Your Business Doesn’t Require You to Work Harder, But to Lead, Think and Decide Differently?
Many entrepreneurs start businesses because they want freedom. Then the business succeeds, revenue grows, the team gets bigger, the decisions become more important, and rather than becoming freer, the entrepreneur becomes increasingly essential to everything. Your team comes to you for answers. Important customers want you. Problems eventually reach your desk. You carry responsibility for the numbers. You make the difficult decisions. And even when you’ve technically finished work, part of your mind often hasn’t.
The modern business owner is facing more decisions, faster change and greater responsibility than ever. Research by TC Group among 1,500 UK business leaders found that 92% said they couldn’t switch off without anxiety or guilt, while only 1 in 8 felt fully in control. (Source: Success Without Stillness: Leadership in Motion, 2026)
The problem isn’t necessarily that business leaders lack capability. The problem can be the sustained cognitive load of leadership: people, clients, costs, culture, strategy and constant decision-making, often without certainty.
So ask yourself: you may have created success, but have you created freedom? You may have built a business, but can that business operate successfully without you? And are you enjoying the life your success was supposed to create?
The traditional business paradigm tells us that greater success requires more hours, more pressure and more sacrifice. We challenge that assumption. What if clearer thinking produces better decisions? What if deep relaxation improves rather than diminishes performance? What if you could build a more profitable business that depends less upon you? And what if wealth, business performance, leadership, health, relaxation and happiness didn’t have to compete with one another?
One Integrated Six Day Programme
The retreat brings the complete Silva foundation course together with practical wealth, business and leadership work across all six programme days.
Days 1 to 6 — Silva Training Applied to Wealth, Business and Leadership (101, 202, 303, 404)
The full Silva Method BLS/Foundation course is included, led by Dr Aktar Chowdhury, Director of Silva Method UK. You will work through the complete 101, 202, 303 and 404 syllabus within the six days. On successful completion of the required Silva training, new students receive certification and become Silva graduates.
Every day combines Silva teaching and practice with application to wealth creation, business and leadership. Each methodology is explored in relation to the goals, decisions and challenges you bring to the retreat.
Both Dr Aktar Chowdhury and Conor Patterson are present throughout. Dr Aktar leads the Silva syllabus; Conor brings the entrepreneurial and wealth-psychology perspective, helping connect the methods to your business and financial goals.
As Silva principles and techniques are explored, we continually ask: how could this apply to your business? How could this change the way you make decisions? How might this help you deal with pressure? How could this support your leadership? How might this help clarify your wealth goals? How could this help you think differently about a problem you’ve been carrying for months?
Additional Business and Wealth Psychology Modules
Alongside the full Silva course, Conor leads his own modules throughout the six days. These are additional to and independent of the Silva syllabus, while complementing its practical application.
You’ll work through profitability, KPIs, strategy, wealth psychology, recruitment, delegation, decision-making, intelligent risk, AI adaptation, investment classes, leadership and your wider wealth journey. You’ll mastermind real business challenges and bring the learning together in your Personal Wealth Business and Leadership Roadmap, a practical plan for what happens when you get home.
A Fresh Application for Existing Silva Graduates
If you have already completed Silva, repeating the full foundation course offers the chance to refresh and deepen your practice while applying it daily to your current wealth, business and leadership goals. The focused application, business coaching and additional modules give familiar techniques a new practical purpose. Both instructors remain present throughout all six days, bringing their perspectives to the entire programme and keeping mental practice and practical implementation connected from beginning to end.
Already a Silva Graduate? Come Back as a Repeater, and Experience Silva Through a Wealth, Business & Leadership Lens
If you have already completed the relevant Silva Method training, you are equally welcome. You may already understand the Method. The question now becomes: what could you use it for? Across the six days, you’ll revisit the complete Silva foundation course, refreshing your practice while exploring how each methodology can be applied to creating wealth, growing a business, leading people, making difficult decisions, reducing entrepreneurial stress, visualising commercial and personal goals, preparing for negotiations and important conversations, recognising possibilities, solving business problems, developing clearer priorities, and designing a business that gives you greater freedom.
For repeaters, this means deepening familiar Silva practice through daily work on your current wealth, business and leadership goals, alongside Conor Patterson’s additional modules. The combination of Silva, business coaching, masterminding and wealth psychology gives experienced Silva graduates the opportunity to turn established techniques towards a highly practical area of life: wealth, business and leadership.
Why This Retreat, Why Now?
Running a business has become heavier. The pace of decisions has increased. The environment changes constantly: AI, regulation, political uncertainty, economic shifts, changing customer behaviour, changing attitudes to work, changing technology.
The research behind Success Without Stillness: Leadership in Motion found that many business leaders can no longer confidently plan far ahead: more than 6 in 10 couldn’t confidently look past the next quarter, yet 60% said clear strategy and planning was their top source of resilience.
So the answer isn’t necessarily a rigid five-year plan. It is a clear destination with flexible execution, the ability to adapt, the ability to think clearly, the ability to make informed decisions when circumstances change, and the ability to distinguish between what you can control and what you cannot. Only 1 in 8 business leaders surveyed felt fully in control, but the report argues that modern control may be less about controlling every variable and more about having enough clarity to make the next informed decision. That distinction sits at the heart of this retreat.
The Entrepreneur’s Dilemma
Many entrepreneurs start businesses for freedom. Then the business grows, and suddenly, rather than becoming freer, the owner becomes the centre around which everything revolves. Being indispensable can initially feel like success. Eventually, it can become a trap.
Research into UK business leaders found that more than half believed their business could operate effectively without them for less than six months if they had to take unexpected extended leave. The report describes over-reliance on the owner as a commercial vulnerability as well as a wellbeing issue.
So ask yourself: if your business cannot function effectively without you, do you own the business, or does the business own you? This retreat is designed to help change that relationship. The aim is not necessarily to walk away from your company. You may love your work. The aim is to create choice: the choice to work because you want to, the choice to step away, the choice to think, the choice to concentrate on the work where you add the greatest value, the choice to enjoy the wealth and freedom you worked so hard to create.
What If Relaxation Were a Business Strategy?
The traditional business paradigm tells us to work harder, work longer, push yourself, keep going, and then perhaps, when you’ve achieved enough, you’ll finally have earned the right to relax. We challenge that assumption. Rest isn’t simply a reward for success. It can be one of the foundations of success.
An exhausted brain isn’t necessarily a commercially intelligent brain. When you’re overwhelmed and constantly reacting, you can become incredibly busy without necessarily being productive. You solve today’s emergency rather than designing tomorrow’s opportunity. You work in your business when your greatest contribution may come from stepping outside it: thinking, seeing, connecting ideas, and making the one decision that makes twenty other decisions unnecessary.
Leadership pressure also has commercial consequences. The research report links fatigue and anxiety with decision quality, profitability, business value, risk appetite, team dynamics and leadership effectiveness. So relaxation is not being presented here as an indulgence. It can be part of intelligent performance.
What Could You Leave With?
Imagine returning home with a clearer picture of the wealth and life you actually want, a practical roadmap for your business, greater clarity around profitability and KPIs, a strategy for reducing your company’s dependence upon you, a clearer understanding of who you need around you, a plan for what to delegate, a better understanding of your own wealth psychology, Silva techniques for relaxation, visualisation, mental rehearsal and problem-solving, a framework for approaching important decisions from a calmer mental state, greater clarity around your investments and wider wealth journey, new perspectives from other entrepreneurs and leaders, a stronger understanding of how to lead without carrying every decision personally, Silva certification and graduate status for new students completing the required training, added application value for experienced Silva repeaters, and follow-up integration calls to help turn ideas into action. And perhaps something even more fundamental: a different relationship with your business, one where ambition doesn’t require exhaustion.
Five-Star Surroundings. Serious Business Thinking.
For seven nights, you’ll stay at the five-star Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol, beside the Mediterranean. Your Superior Room and meals are included.
This isn’t a business seminar that happens to be in Cyprus. The retreat environment is part of the experience. Work deeply. Then step away. Think. Then stop thinking. Learn. Then allow your mind time to process.
During your downtime you can swim, walk beside the Mediterranean, use the spa, relax in the sauna or steam facilities, exercise, play tennis, play padel, sit beside the pool, join an optional Laughter Yoga session, talk with another entrepreneur, or return to your room and simply do nothing. That isn’t wasted time. It’s part of the point. We want to demonstrate what we’re teaching throughout the week: high performance and wellbeing do not have to be opposites.
Explore the Complete Six-Day Programme
The Complete Silva Foundation Course with Daily Business Application (101, 202, 303, 404)
The full Silva Method BLS/Foundation course is included within the six-day programme, covering 101, 202, 303 and 404 and led by Dr Aktar Chowdhury. New students who successfully complete the required training receive Silva certification and graduate status.
Throughout all six days, Conor Patterson helps connect each Silva methodology to wealth creation, entrepreneurship and leadership, alongside his own additional business and wealth-psychology modules. Silva training, practical application and Conor’s additional modules are interwoven across the programme.
Every day, we continually ask: how can this be applied? How can relaxation affect your response under pressure? How can visualisation clarify the business and life you’re trying to create? How can mental rehearsal prepare you for an important negotiation? How can calmer states help you consider a problem differently? How can you become less reactive? How can you create clearer boundaries between your business and the rest of your life? How can your mental practice support better leadership? And how can you use these tools in the real world?
Silva, Stress & the Entrepreneurial Mind
Running a business can create an almost endless stream of demands: another email, another employee problem, another customer, another decision, another financial issue, another deadline, another opportunity, another risk. Eventually, constant responsiveness can become confused with productivity. Yet one of the owner’s most valuable functions isn’t simply responding, it’s thinking, seeing the bigger picture, recognising patterns, identifying opportunities, determining priorities, making decisions, and deciding what not to do.
During the Silva component of the retreat, we explore techniques for deliberately stepping away from continual external stimulation and entering a calmer, more internally focused state. We then consider how to bring that state back to genuine business problems. Instead of Problem → Stress → Reaction, we explore Problem → Pause → Relaxed Awareness → Alternatives → Deliberate Decision.
Deep Relaxation as a Leadership Skill
Most business courses teach leaders what to do. Very few teach them how to stop. Yet if you cannot switch off, your company effectively has permanent access to your attention. You may leave the office. The office doesn’t necessarily leave you.
Learning to deliberately relax therefore isn’t separate from leadership. For many entrepreneurs, it may support leadership. The objective isn’t to stop caring about your company. It is to challenge the assumption that worrying about your business 24 hours a day is the same thing as running it effectively. You learn to step away, then return, potentially calmer, potentially clearer, and able to look again.
Visualisation — Seeing the Destination Before Building the Route
Many entrepreneurs know their turnover precisely. Ask what they want their life to look like five years from now and the answer can be surprisingly vague. So we apply Silva visualisation to a bigger question: what exactly are you trying to create? Your business, your income, your assets, your investments, your leadership role, your team, your ideal working week, your health, your relationships, your time, your freedom.
How large do you want the business to become? How profitable? By when? What role do you want to play? Which activities do you want to stop doing? How dependent should the company be upon you? What level of personal wealth do you want? And: what is that wealth actually for? The clearer the destination becomes, the more intelligently we can design the route.
Mental Rehearsal & Leadership
Leadership repeatedly places us in situations where performance matters: a major negotiation, an important presentation, a difficult employee conversation, a meeting with an investor, a significant sale, delegating responsibility you’ve historically retained yourself, recruiting a key executive, speaking to your board, asking for substantially more money, making a decision you’ve been avoiding.
We explore how Silva mental rehearsal and visualisation can be applied before those situations. How do you want to behave? How do you want to feel? What outcome are you seeking? What objections could arise? How might you respond? What would successful completion look like? The objective isn’t to predict somebody else’s behaviour. It’s to prepare yourself to enter the situation differently.
Creative Business Problem-Solving
Some problems yield to spreadsheets. Others don’t. Why has growth stalled? Why can’t we recruit the right person? Should we expand? Should we sell? Should we launch? Why is this department underperforming? What opportunity are we overlooking? Where is our profit disappearing? What would I do if simply working another ten hours wasn’t an available solution?
During the Silva programme, we explore how its techniques can form part of another approach to problem-solving. We don’t abandon analysis, we add another mode of thought: analyse, step away, relax, visualise, allow possibilities to emerge, return to the evidence, test them. The purpose isn’t to replace rational thinking. It’s to expand the ways in which you think.
Intuition, Awareness & Opportunity
Entrepreneurs frequently talk about having a “feel” for a market, person or opportunity. That doesn’t mean abandoning evidence. We are not suggesting that intuition should replace commercial due diligence. Instead, we explore whether greater internal awareness can help you notice questions, possibilities and patterns that deserve investigation. An idea that arises in meditation isn’t automatically a good idea. But it might be a very good question. And sometimes a better question changes everything.
Goal Programming & Wealth Creation
Silva gives us one side of an important equation: what do I want to create? The business work gives us the other: what am I actually going to do about it? We are not teaching that merely visualising wealth causes money to appear. Instead: visualise the destination, clarify the outcome, identify the obstacles, develop the strategy, decide the actions, measure the results, adjust. This is where Silva and business coaching begin to reinforce one another.
Silva & Decision Fatigue
The report that informed part of this retreat’s positioning found that leaders are carrying a significant burden of decisions and that nearly a third regularly feel guilt around those decisions. It also argues that leaders who learn which decisions genuinely require their attention, which can be delegated and which can be supported by others are more likely to preserve their resilience.
This is where Silva becomes particularly relevant. Not because meditation makes difficult decisions disappear, but because we can explore whether a calmer internal state allows you to approach them differently. Which decisions deserve your best energy? Which are simply habitual? Which are you holding because you’ve always held them? Which should move to somebody else? And which require time, space and clarity rather than a faster reaction?
From Mental Performance to Business Performance
Throughout all six programme days, we repeatedly connect the Silva teaching and practice to three central themes.
Wealth Creation — What do you believe about money? What level of wealth do you want? What opportunities do you notice? What risks do you avoid? What does financial freedom look like? How might habitual thinking influence financial behaviour?
Business Growth — Where is the company going? What’s stopping it? What needs to change? What opportunity are you missing? What problem needs solving? Which decisions deserve your attention?
Leadership Development — How do you respond under pressure? How do you prepare for difficult situations? How much cognitive load are you carrying unnecessarily? What should you delegate? How do you become less reactive? And how do you preserve your best mental energy for the moments in which your leadership genuinely matters?
Existing Silva Graduates — Application Rather Than Simple Repetition
If you’ve previously trained in Silva, these six days give you the opportunity to revisit the complete foundation course while applying its methodologies daily to your current wealth, business and leadership challenges. Your challenges are different now from when you may first have learned the Method. Your responsibilities may be greater. The stakes may be higher. You may have employees, investments, a company, a family, a major decision, an exit strategy, a succession problem, an opportunity, or simply a desire to create more freedom. This retreat gives you an environment in which to ask: how can I use what I already know more deliberately?
Additional Business and Wealth Psychology Modules, Led by Conor Patterson Throughout the Six Day Programme
Alongside the complete Silva foundation course and its daily applications, Conor Patterson brings his own Business & Wealth Psychology modules into the six-day programme. These are additional to and independent of the Silva syllabus. Conor leads this work throughout the retreat, covering the practical and psychological aspects of building wealth, improving business performance and developing as a leader. Dr Aktar remains present throughout, contributing the Silva, neuroscience and human-performance perspective and helping connect the mental training with practical application.
Don’t Leave With Another Notebook
Most business courses finish precisely when the difficult part starts: implementation. So our programme doesn’t simply end when you leave Cyprus. Follow-up integration calls are included. We revisit your roadmap: what did you implement, what happened, what’s stuck, what needs adjusting. Because information doesn’t change businesses. Implementation does.
Become a Silva Graduate
For participants undertaking Silva for the first time, the complete BLS/Foundation course is included within the six programme days, covering 101, 202, 303 and 404. On successful completion of the required Silva training, you will receive Silva certification, become a Silva graduate and receive lifelong membership with the original Silva Method, opening the door to relevant graduate opportunities and advanced Silva training. Existing graduates can attend as repeaters with a discounted investment, revisiting the full foundation course and deepening their practice through daily application to wealth, business and leadership, alongside Conor Patterson’s additional modules.
Who Is This Retreat For?
Business Owners & Entrepreneurs, our principal audience, particularly owners of established small and medium-sized businesses who have already created something successful but know there is another level available: more profit, more freedom, stronger leadership or less dependence on them.
Senior Executives & Directors, who don’t have to own the company. The programme is equally relevant to senior people carrying significant responsibility for teams, strategy, growth, performance, culture and decision-making. If you own a business, consider bringing your managing director, operations director, future successor, sales director, or another key member of your leadership team.
Aspiring Entrepreneurs & Wealth Creators, who don’t yet need to own a business, but are serious about creating their future.
Existing Silva Graduates, who can attend as a repeater and apply their existing skills directly to wealth, business, leadership, decision-making, strategy and performance.
There can be enormous value in bringing your business partner or key leader. You hear the same material, learn the same techniques, mastermind together, discuss your company outside its normal environment, and build your roadmap together.

Meet Your Retreat Leaders
Dr Aktar Chowdhury — Director of the Silva Method UK. Neuroscience, Meditation, Visualisation, Certified Hypnotherapist, Human Performance, Business and Life Coach. Dr Aktar Chowdhury is Director of the Silva Method UK and brings a background in neuroscience, meditation and human performance. He has been practising meditation and yoga for over 25 years and is also a researcher with a PhD in Meditation and Neuroscience. His research focuses particularly on the Silva Method of Meditation and its practical applications in enhancing cognitive performance and promoting mental wellbeing. He is also a Certified Accountant, Civil and Commercial Mediator and Lawyer, providing him with a unique perspective on integrating meditation and mind-management techniques into professional settings. His legal and financial expertise allows him to connect with professionals seeking practical tools to enhance performance, reduce stress and thrive in high-pressure environments. He leads the complete Silva Method BLS/Foundation course across the six-day programme, with its methodologies applied daily to wealth creation, business and leadership. His contribution centres around an important question: what happens to performance when we learn to change our mental state?
Conor Patterson — Entrepreneur, Business Mentor, Wealth Psychology, Leadership, Life Coach. Conor Patterson is an entrepreneur, business mentor and coach with more than 21 years’ experience building and running a multimillion-pound property business, alongside experience across financial services, insolvency and media. His career has given him direct experience of the realities of entrepreneurship: building businesses, managing assets and people, making investment decisions, navigating financial pressure, identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for decisions where the consequences are real. Alongside his own entrepreneurial career, Conor has spent approximately 20 years mentoring and advising business owners, helping them examine not only their strategy and commercial decisions, but also the thinking, beliefs and behavioural patterns that influence the way they lead and build wealth. His professional and personal-development training includes Life Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), together with training and development work involving internationally recognised business and personal-development figures including Tony Robbins and Brad Sugars. He has also written extensively on wealth psychology, exploring the relationship between mindset, decision-making, behaviour and financial outcomes. He is present throughout all six programme days, bringing the practical business, leadership and wealth-creation application to the Silva training, and also leads his own Business & Wealth Psychology modules throughout the six days.
Two Instructors Throughout the Six Day Programme. Dr Aktar leads the complete Silva foundation syllabus across the six days. Conor helps connect each methodology to wealth creation, business and leadership, and also leads his own additional Business & Wealth Psychology modules throughout the programme. Both remain with the group throughout. A difficult business problem might require more than one perspective: a profitability problem may also involve the owner’s beliefs about money, a delegation problem may also involve control, a leadership problem may also involve stress, a strategic problem may require both analysis and a different mental state. That is why we deliberately bring the two disciplines together: how you run your mind, how you run your business.
Guest Facilitator — Desi Kutsarova. Laughter Yoga, Energy & Connection. Desi Kutsarova joins us for optional Laughter Yoga sessions. Her role is deliberately different from the core business and Silva training. This is an opportunity to stop analysing, laugh, move, connect and play, and remember something successful people can occasionally forget: success shouldn’t simply give you more, it should give you more to enjoy.
Why Cyprus?
Because sometimes you need to leave your normal environment to see it clearly. Cyprus gives us something an ordinary conference room cannot: space, sunshine, the Mediterranean, and genuine separation from everyday business life. Here you can spend the morning working deeply on your mind or business and then step outside beside the Mediterranean. Peak performance and personal wellbeing do not have to be opposites.

Success Without Sacrifice
Success isn’t simply a number in a bank account. It’s wealth. But it’s also freedom, health, family, time, purpose, people, legacy, choice, and the ability to build something you’re proud of without sacrificing the life you’re supposedly building it for. The research informing this page suggests that business owners increasingly define success in precisely this broader way: personal growth, financial success, developing people, family security and legacy all matter.
So ask yourself: if your income doubles but your stress doubles, have you succeeded? If your business grows but becomes increasingly dependent upon you, has it really become stronger? If you have enough money for freedom but no time to experience that freedom, what exactly have you created? We don’t believe you should have to choose between wealth and wellbeing, profitability and freedom, ambition and happiness.
Your Business Should Give You Freedom
Most entrepreneurs didn’t start businesses because they wanted more stress. They wanted freedom, choice, independence, opportunity, wealth, control over their time. Somewhere along the journey, those objectives can disappear beneath the responsibility of running what you created. This retreat gives you six days to rediscover them: to step outside, think, learn, relax, question, visualise, strategise, mastermind, laugh, make decisions, build your roadmap, and return home knowing what happens next.
